Announcing the LoVetri Institute for Somatic Voicework™ at Baldwin Wallace University

We are pleased to announce the brand new three-level summer LoVetri Institute for Somatic Voicework™ at Baldwin Wallace University that will take place in July 2017, from the 22nd through the 30th. This program, nationally and internationally recognized by singers, singing teachers, music educators and vocal professionals from speech language pathology, voice science and medicine, has graduated over 1200 individuals. Along with Jeanie LoVetri staff includes senior faculty Robert Doyle and Michelle Rosen and guest faculty otolaryngologist Dr. Adam Rubin, speech language pathologist Dr. Claudio Milstein, broadway music director Tom Murray, faculty liaision Benjamin Czarnota, Grammy nominated jazz artist Kate McGarry, and body work expert Suzan Postel. . Somatic Voicework™ is the first and original program for Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy and it continues to be ground-breaking in its new university residency. Since it was created in 2002, Somatic Voicework™ has changed the face of Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy, bringing it a new level of credibility in academia and voice science research. What Is Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method?

Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method is the first Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy Program that for 13 years garnered stellar reviews from participants all over the USA and from 12 foreign countries. The work continues to inspire and empower singers and teachers emphasizing freedom of vocal production, authentic expression and stylistic integrity. It is the only course that has had the honor of having eleven nationally recognized laryngologists lecture during various levels, as well as four Music Directors of Broadway shows as master class teachers, and a host of nationally recognized experts as specialists in various styles. It also features experts in bodywork, movement, and holistic approaches to body/mind integration, drawing from a diverse array of methods.

Somatic Voicework™ Training

Teacher Training Days and Teacher Support Groups

On Friday, September 22nd, Jeanie will do a free demonstration class at a location in the DC/MD area from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Anyone who would like to see Somatic Voicework™ in action or wants to find out more about it is welcome. For information, please contact Jennifer Suess

Saturday, September 23rd, Teacher Training Day,10:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Washington DC/Baltimore area for SVW teachers. Teachers work with each other with supervision from Jeanie, fee $125. For information, please contact. Jennifer Suess


Sunday, September 24th, Teacher Support Group, 1:30 to 5:30, fee $85 in the Washington DC area. Jeanie will work with students of SVW teachers in front of the group. Refreshments included. Location to be announced upon registration. Please contact Jennifer Suess.

Teacher Training Day for SVW teachers, Saturday, November 4th, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Boston area location TBA. Teachers work with each other with supervision from Jeanie. Limit is 14 participants but observers who do not plan to teach may come if the limit is reached. The fee is $125.

On Sunday, November 5th, Teacher Support Group for SVW teachers, 1:30 to 5:30, fee $85in the Boston area location TBA. Jeanie will work with students of SVW teachers in front of the group. Refreshments are included on both days. Those attending both days may pay $200.
