Announcing the LoVetri Institute for Somatic Voicework™ at Baldwin Wallace University

We are pleased to announce the brand new three-level summer LoVetri Institute for Somatic Voicework™ at Baldwin Wallace University for the second year that will take place in July 2018, from the 21st through the 29th. This program, nationally and internationally recognized by singers, singing teachers, music educators and choral directors and vocal professionals from speech language pathology, voice science and medicine, has graduated over 1500 individuals. Along with Jeanie LoVetri, staff includes senior faculty Michelle Rosen, associate faculty Betsy Fiedler and guest faculty laryngologist Dr. H. Steven Sims, speech language pathologists Dr. Claudio Milstein and Jan Potter Reed, broadway music director Tom Murray, faculty liaision Benjamin Czarnota, gospel expert Ph.Ed. Triniece Robinson Martin , and body work experts Suzan Postel and Peter Shor. Somatic Voicework™ is the first and original program for Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy and it continues to be ground-breaking in its new university residency. Since it was created in 2002, Somatic Voicework™ has changed the face of Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy, bringing it a new level of credibility in academia and voice science research. What Is Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method?

Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method is the first Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy Program that for 13 years garnered stellar reviews from participants all over the USA and from 12 foreign countries. The work continues to inspire and empower singers and teachers emphasizing freedom of vocal production, authentic expression and stylistic integrity. It is the only course that has had the honor of having eleven nationally recognized laryngologists lecture during various levels, as well as four Music Directors of Broadway shows as master class teachers, and a host of nationally recognized experts as specialists in various styles. It also features experts in bodywork, movement, and holistic approaches to body/mind integration, drawing from a diverse array of methods.

Somatic Voicework™ Training

The new LoVetri Institute for Somatic Voicework™ will offer all three Levels of Somatic Voicework™ at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea Ohio (suburb of Cleveland) July 21nd through July 29th 2018. Teacher Training Days and Teacher Support Groups

On Friday, April 13th, Jeanie will do a free demonstration class in Holland Michigan 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Anyone who would like to see Somatic Voicework™ in action or wants to find out more about it is welcome.
On Saturday, April 14th, 10-5 with a fee of $125. Jeanie will hold a Teacher Training Day for Somatic Voicework™ teachers (only) Holland Michigan refreshments included. Teachers will work with each other with Jeanie's guidance.
On Sunday, April 15th, 1:30 to 5:30, fee $85. Jeanie have a teacher support group and will work with students of SVW teachers in front of the group in Holland Michigan. Refreshments included.
There is a combined fee of $200 for both the Saturday and Sunday events.
